How We Check Mat Quality and Color for B2B Projects
Ninghow Mats is Ninghow's specialized custom mat division. We supply made-to-order mouse pads, gaming mats, yoga and fitness mats, tool and work mats, commercial mats, promotional mats and application-specific mats for global B2B brands, importers, distributors, private-label businesses and OEM/ODM buyers. Our mat quality control covers incoming materials through finished products and packaging, with colorimeters used for color-difference measurement and a Delta E <1.5 color-control target.
Send your product, material and market requirements when requesting project-specific quality information.
Our Inspection Scope from Material Intake to Packaging
Ninghow Mats' quality-control coverage spans the main attributes reviewed during custom mat production. This gives supplier quality teams a clear starting point for checking whether a project brief addresses the product features that matter to them.

Inspection Areas and the Project References They Need
The table below connects each verified inspection area with the project information a buyer can provide for review. It does not assume a universal sampling plan, tolerance or acceptance level. Those details need to be agreed for the specific mat and order.
Incoming Materials
Quality-control coverage: Incoming materials are included in the inspection scope.
Useful project reference: Required material family and structure
Dimensions and Thickness
Quality-control coverage: Product dimensions and thickness are reviewed.
Useful project reference: Specified size and thickness
Appearance and Printing
Quality-control coverage: Appearance and printed features are included in quality checks.
Useful project reference: Artwork, surface appearance and print requirements
Quality-control coverage: Color-difference measurement is supported by colorimeters.
Useful project reference: Color reference and project acceptance requirement

Set Physical and Construction Requirements Before Review
Dimensions and thickness are explicit inspection points for Ninghow Mats projects. Cutting, edge stitching and lamination are also reviewed as part of the defined mat construction. These checks are relevant to products such as mouse pads, desk mats, fitness mats, tool mats and other made-to-specification formats.
Include the target dimensions, thickness, shape, edge construction and any layered structure requirements in the product brief. Tolerances and acceptance criteria should be confirmed for the individual product and project rather than assumed from a general mat specification.
Measure Color Difference Alongside Printed Appearance
Appearance and printing checks are supported by measured color-difference review. Ninghow Mats uses colorimeters for color-difference measurement, with a Delta E <1.5 color-control target .
Delta E is a numerical measure of the difference between two colors. The Delta E figure is a control target, not a universal tolerance or fixed acceptance value for every mat. The color reference, relevant print requirements and project-specific acceptance criteria should be confirmed during quality review.

Extend Checks to Finished Mats and Packaging
Quality control covers more than incoming material and printed appearance. Finished products and packaging are also included in the stated inspection scope. Add the final product requirements and packaging brief to the project record so the relevant attributes can be reviewed at the end of the manufacturing process.
If your team needs to assess a proposed material, construction, size or artwork before bulk production, visit custom mat sample development to plan the sample review route.
Request the Relevant Quality and Compliance Resources
Available quality and compliance resources include ISO9001, RoHS test reports and REACH test reports. These resources should be matched to the product, material and market requirements under review.
Ask us to confirm the document type, product or material scope, date and market applicability for your request. A quality or compliance resource should not be assumed to apply to every mat, material or destination without project-specific confirmation.
